Title: So I can' beat GTA4
Post by: mojovonio on June 01, 2008, 11:51:02 PM: Not because I don't want to, but I finished all of the missions, except for Undertaker. I waited an in-game week and Packie hasn't called me yet.

Fuck this game.

And since they don't even add the mission to your organizer, it IS possible to sleep through it even though you know what time it is. It's fucking distinguished mentally-challenged. the organizer is not used at all.

It's like pulling teeth doing this shit, I haven't been attacking it very much, because its a complete pain in the ass. After doing about 15 of them at a time you wanna slit your throat its so tedious. It usually goes like this:

- Look on the map I printed off for the next pigeon spot
- Mark it on the map
- Goto the spot
- Look around for a couple minutes for it there at the spot, realize I'm not going to find it just walking around
- Go in the other room and look at the games radar guide online to find out more details on where its at
- Read the details, which may or may not help
- Look at the screengrabs they posted, realize they took them with the brightness on about the lowest setting they could find, during night time in the game, on purpose to be dicks
- Go back, fucking cuss the game out until you eventually find the pigeon
- Try to aim at the pigeon
- Realizing that autoaim will point to a fucking pedestrian every time, have to line up the reticule on the pigeon by tapping the L trigger for it to show up, but not for too long since it will fire shortly after
- Kill the pigeon
- Get an immediate star because no fucking gun in this game has a silencer
- Run away from the cops for about 3 minutes and then set your next target, and drive there, which you're probably way the fuck out of the way now evading the popo
- Repeat 200 fucking times

Yesterday I spent like half an hour or something trying to find this pigeon. I had it marked, I was at the spot, I read the description on games radar that said something like 'in the gap between the bridge and wall' and had a dark blurry picture on the site you couldn't see shit on. I tried to decipher where the map in the screenshot was position to find out where exactly I needed to go, with no luck, whipped out the sniper and aimed for the bridge thinking for some reason it said GAP UNDER THE BRIDGE it would be there, but no. Eventually I save the photo of what it was, go into paint, and invert the colors to that metallic blue look to find out that the pigeon was in a fucking small ass alley next to the road, not a fucking thing to do with the bridge, then kill the bastard. Fucking A.

Not all are like this, but its getting fucking ridiculous.

Half-pull on L Trigger will enable manual aim, full-pull is auto-aim, under the default controls.

yep I actually bothered to beat it, unlike GTA4

characters were also more endearing and likable

The five flips Achievement's pretty easy to get with a fast car on the airport runway. I did it in about 5 tries; not automatic, but not hard.
