Man, it wasn't annoying to hear random folks do Ace Venture impressions during the 90s - hearing a little kid do the same gimmicks will be even better!

what's really amazing is that there was already two, TWO frigging Jim Carrey-less Jim Carrey sequels/prequels/whatever and they both tanked big time.  And they went ahead and pulled the trigger on this anyway.

Probably doesn't matter as much as this is almost certainly going to be a direct to video release.  We have this fine film to blame actually.

I'd forgotten about that.  It was as pervasive as the bad Borat imitations are now.  Of course nobody made a movie based on a character doing an Ace Ventura impersonation like they are for Borat. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0960144/)

It can't be a complete loss, it apparently has John Turturro as "The Phantom", and... Dave Matthews?
