Title: AutoDesk Student Competition

Deadline is on June 15.  There are five categories:

1. Architecture
2. Civil Engineering
3. Mechanical Engineering
4. Industrial Design
5. 3D Animation

First Place Prize Packs will be awarded to the best design in each of the five main categories:

Full version of MayaŽ 2008
Profile on Autodesk.com and in the online Autodesk Student Magazine

One Grand Prize will be awarded for the best overall design among the first place winners in each category, and one will be awarded for the best sustainable design from the bonus category:

I would, but something tells me they won't be accepting my popsicle stick structures or macaroni art as proper entries.  :'(

Those are some nice prizes! Someday there will be a contest to see who can replace a toilet fastest, and I will be a golden god.

Can this be done in AutoCAD2006?  I've only done structural engineering work on AutoCAD so far, in which case I could probably never get this done by then but worth a shot I guess.

It says Revit is required.  I don't know it either but I doesn't seem too hard to pick up.  I HAVE HOPE!  

AutoCAD 2006 and AccuRender are pretty much my main weapons of choice too.

Hmm, so I'd have to buy that just to enter this?  I noticed I can DL it from the Autodesk site but I don't know if it will give me a trial period or not, I'll try later at home.
