Death Note is like the worst anime ever.
i don't watch a whole stack of Anime, but i seem to have the uncanny knack of liking everything that people hate, yet hate the stuff people love.
Hmmm... i might go get my anime appreciation gland checked, then again... i might be right :O
Anyways, worst anime ever? surely not, not by a long way.
Lucky Star is the worst semi-recent popular show...

I picked up this Death Note Special Collector's Edition which is really cool, but once I opened the package I realized it was the movie, not the animated series.
Anyone seen the movie? Is it any good? I haven't seen any Death Note anything - just heard of it (I also have the notebook and feather pen) so I don't want to watch something potentially lame and get the wrong impression of the series...

i loved deathnote back when the manga first came out. jumped the shark half way. haven't seen the anime except 1 ep.

That's the point, I thought. He's an utter prick and the fun is hoping he'll get caught from one episode to the next.

Then you'd love the last episode.
Actually, you'd love the last few issues of the manga even more. Seeing him squirm in pain as he gets his comeuppance.
