Broadcast looks interesting.

I'm downloading Haha Sound right now.

I haven't heard that album yet, but you should definitely check out the album Tender Buttons too. it's generally considered their best (and I certainly can't stop listening to it.)

Ecstatic Sunshine, Minimal Punk from Baltimore.  First CD was two guitars.  Second release was an EP where they added a drummer.

OCDJ - Candy Crunk from Baltimore.  Imagine if a madman ran into the inner city replacing all the guns with lollipops and all the pit bulls with kittens and skrew faces with smiley faces.

Or you can always Funk The War with a 2 Hour mix of upbeat, up tempo revolutionary music I made for a musical march/protest for DC back in March.

This is pretty old so I'm not sure why I'm recommending it other than it's one of the few true classic albums to come out of the techno scene. Melds dub and dance better than anything I've heard before or since. Heavy enough for metal fans too!

You dig Enigma, maji? The artist I'm about to post was part of Enigma up to the mid 90's (I believe). His name is Jens Gad...

The 3 tracks are off either Achillea 1 or 2 or Le Spa Sonique, all great albums.

I've been listening to Seal the last few months.  I'm kinda late to the party by nearly 20 years, but I started with his first two albums and they're great.

I loved this disc when I was in high school, I could imagine its dated as fiuck now. I go back a bit further when I want to listen to retro dance tunes, Ive been cranking the Roger Morales and Frankie Knuckles etc. Acid House :rock

Nah, Leftism still holds up very well. Saved by its own lack of singular direction.

yeah I'll defintiely give it a relisten shortly.. I imagine Rhythm and Stealth still holds up pretty well. Minimal slamming stuff is generally fairly timeless

I semi-owned myself in regards to Leftism, the non-vocal tracks are good but anything with vocals/lyrics is fucking horrible. I hate distinguished mentally-challenged allegorical shit, has no place in dance music. Thats why I like hardcore so much

Oh Kate Bush! I always recommend her, I forgot too this time. Listen to The Kick Inside, The Dreaming and The Sensual World :omg . Its a bit more effeminate, estrogen levels can be too high but its still yummy.

Oh tell me about it bro. I have a techinically terrible taste in music but Im still very high and mighty about it

Some embarrassing things I listen to:

Real McCoy
Aqua
Vengaboys
N-Sync
all sorts of other trashy euro pop and Italo Disco
all that corny latino 'Freestyle Dance'

and I fucking hate hate hate:

The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
The Doors
Bob Dylan

but I really like:

Nick Cave
Jimi Jendrix

yeah I dont know aye, I do like lots of 'good' music too, but Im just very particular

heellllllll noo :piss The Eagles :piss2

I hate it when youre a a party or something and people insist on playing that soft as kleenex tissue 'classic rock' like Starship and Doobie Brotheres and shit

If Im drinking and smoking and shit I wanna be hearing hard rap, tough electro or metal or something like that

Some of the first music-listening I recall doing as a kid was listening to Hot 103.5 (now Hot 97, an infamous NYC rap station) where they would play all this freestyle and 80's synthpop, it was awesome.
