I was really happy with the first one, and though Lego Star Wars 2: Original Trilogy was pretty good on the first play-through, it was short. And on replay it really felt flat and chore-like to play, largely because some missions are more or less impossible to complete without dying (the main source of 360 Achievements).

So, just as a barometer what did you pro-Indy Lego guys think of the Lego Star Wars games? Will I find Indy to be similar?

There's so much shit to collect - I'm going to definitely be playing this one for a bit. The puzzles are fun too. The fighting animations are hysterical. Nazis are so cy-ote!

I finished the three movies but have been going back to find the treasures (with some cheat codes on like Treasure locator which just points an arrow towards treasures, you still have to figure everything out with the puzzle) and it's not boring or repetitive at all. You would think that going back after beating the game and collecting shit would be tedious but TT seriously put a lot of thought and detail into these puzzles so it's like a ton of brand new content just waiting there for you. Also, it's very easy switching characters... you get one of each important gadget / weapon character and just press RB/LB (360 version) to switch between them. I initially thought it would only allow you to choose two meaning it would take ages to get all the treasures since you'd have to restart over and over again but that's not the case, you get all the required characters in Free Play.

Game is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot wait for Batman. I'm not even like a big fan of Indiana Jones... I saw the movies as a kid and haven't been a fan or whatever yet the game is so fun and so filled with stuff and the puzzles are so well done that the fact that the theme doesn't interest me makes no difference. Now with Batman... I love Batman, everyone loves Batman so LEGO gameplay + the Batman universe = a true masterpiece in the making. I like this game 10 or 11 times more than I liked GTA4... just goes to show you that critics mean jack shit most of the time.

no that's wrong... you have to get each one manually. I initially bought them all and the 3 secret levels didn't unlock. I asked the xbox forum and they said you need to get them all manually

That's what I've been doing. But it shows you where it'll appear, not what to do to get it to appear.

Well what is bothering you? A couple not obvious ones are in "Trouble In The Sky" at the part where you ride the tractor, head back and run over the three red circles to sprout mushrooms, then bash the mushrooms. The second is in Motorcycle Escape, theres a room with a tractor you can fix. Take it outside, then run over the three little fields to sprout carrots.

This is how achievements should be done. You work to get them and get rewarded by brand new content in the game, not JUST the points. LEGO is now one of my favorite game series.

i shouldn't have said 'work' because at least in thsi game it didn't feel like work collecting all those treasures... it was fun figuring out all the puzzles and seeing all the new content / rooms / etc

Go back to Pankor Secrets, and when you pull down the bridge, use a Bazooka guy on a group of spiders to unlock the "Blow 5 enemies up with 1 explosion" achievement - easy 40

Lol, I thought you had to get all 180 treasures... that's why you got the 1000 before me. It took me hours to find them all manually yet you only need a few... but it was fun
