Couldn't they pretty much just use the Phoenix Wright engine with some minor tweaks?
-
i don't think that would make a good game...there's no way to win. :lol

:lol I love this plan. I'm glad to be a part of it!
The Trial had a pretty good mid-'90s skinflick adaptation; maybe that would be the superior videogame.

I'm trying to think if there are any games that end with failure/death after a whole lot of bad shit happens to the protagonist...not ringing any bells. perhaps a Kafka line of games is in order.

I'll wait for the sequel, The Castle. I look forward to truly endless dialog trees, endless backtracking, loops in quests, and no map.

And I think we already have a game of The Metamorphosis. Anybody played Bad Mojo?

if I blatantly rip off all of Kafka's stories and novels in my DS RPG, do you guys think I'll get called on it, or just praised for bringing literary refinement to the world of video games? :-*

It'll be fine. The only criteria you'll be judged on is whether the story is Oscar-worthy or not. I don't think Soderbergh won an Oscar for Kafka though...which used elements of all of Kafka's stories and put it into a movie ;)
