Is that 15 minutes in you have a full party and an airship. That's speedy!
-
no, it's bragging online that you made it to that 15 minutes with a full party
-
That airship is gone within the hour. Have fun with a canoe.
And then the boat.
Lol.

The difficulty is punishing at the get-go. You have to grind like 3 levels or else you get fudged.

And the whole thing is ridiculously basic in design. I got about half-way through the game and quit a few months ago.
I restarted last week because when I started playing again, I had no idea what the hell I was doing. :lol

I like old-school RPGs like this (16-bit doesn't count), where the focus is on uncovering the world rather than story and characters, but I've heard the battles are a lot slower compared to the original and there's a max of 3 enemies in a battle, which sounds like it'd really drag down the experience.

Yeah, that's the big problem with the FF3 remake... they really should've gone with a 2D graphical style like the FF1 and 2 remakes, instead of the ugly DS 3D style they went for. Going with a 2D style and adding a save point after beating Xande, and the game would've kicked so much ass.
-
I thought there was a save point there but then they removed it because they felt it was too easy? I had already grinded so much before going in there that it didn't matter.
-
I stopped playing the game when I was at the final dungeon. It felt like it never ended and there was no savepoint. So I just quit and didn't go back to it.

During development of the original NES version, yes. where the "they" who complained about it being too easy is some tester.

Me too.
Loved it up to that point though, and didn't find it to be too challenging either.

Gutsco is a tremendous cockfag. I run through a dungeon full of BOMBS ( :-X) to find him, have to chip away at his health, and after I finally beat him he obviously follows me around and then steals the Horns.
Now I have to go into another dungeon, only this one was lava floors that you HAVE to walk over.
-
I made it to the last dungeon, shit game

FF3 DS was okay, but what I really want is FFIV DS already.
I'll probably have to buy another DS when it comes out because it's all my wife ever plays. :-\
