Can a loose vga connection cause an off center picture? I'm using a ps3 vga cable :omg and its a bit off center on my monitor. Started fine then I hit the autoadjust on accident so I'm just wondering if a loose connection can cause that. thanks.

there is a ps3 vga cable?
Its a wii/ps3 3rd party one that doesn't work with the wii! Basically converts component to vga so it very well could be an issue with the cable itself. I bought it on a whim expecting to use it for MGS4, decided against buying MGS4 last month, then bought MGS4 today

I'll like to get one. I just found out that my 24" monitor crops the picture on the sides whenver I connect a console through HDMI.

btw does your monitor have dvi? why not try hdmi to dvi if so?
as for your question, no idea but try messing with your monitor settings.

Nah vga only. Its a cheap monitor and as it were it works great with the comp and 360. I was just going for the trifecta here.
