You get this huge bowl of the best noodles I've ever had in my life for $5.75.  Last night there was free music from a pretty great Balkan klezmer gypsy jazz band too.

There are anarcho-syndicalists in the US? That honestly surprises me, although I'm not sure why.

there's an anarchist bakery around here (st. louis) that makes the most amazing bread and bagels i have ever tasted

we have a leftist restaurant chain that has a book store and organic food named after a langston hughes poem.

in fact, i ate at the DC one about an hour ago

I guess there is.  Weird, I grew up in St. Louis (and just got back from a six-month stay there) and never heard of it, even though I had and have a lot of anarchist friends.

and yes, that is it.  it's on cherokee off of south grand.  damn that place is so amazing i wish i was eating some of their bread now fuuuuck
