Gamers were livid. "Why won't you bring Persona 2: Innocent Sin to the U.S.?" they asked "Whyyyy?"
Atlus shrugged.spoiler (click to show/hide)I refuse to read any political tracts or polemics. Period.[close]
Good luck guys. The last time I was in a book swap I gave a copy of "The Bruins" in return for a copy of the fucking bible.
I'd rather get the bible than Ayn Rand.
But I already asked TA for specific books and he said yes and I gave him my addy. :(
Well, I'll still send out books!
Eric P - pm'ed my address.
Although FoC has me SERIOUSLY worried about the wisdom of this :-X
Eric, I didn't get an address yet.yeah i haven't matched people yet. i wanted to get all the addresses first as a kind of guarantee of the desire to participate
modify the title to get people's asses in here
suggested next title:
"I sure as hell don't want to grow up to be a Debaser"
address sent. i am filled with a deep and abiding shame. :'(
The title was a trap. I can't send you my effin books from Europe assholes.
If you're still taking names, I'll jump in if folks don't mind shipping to Canada. Miseading thread title worked well.

I still haven't found anything to share. :( I do have a short book of plays (No Exit 'n' some other shit) from Jean-Paul SHARTre that I'd be willing to part with whenever I'm finished reading it, which could be any time between now and two months from now.
Wish i could find my copy of Moneyball and id be all about this. More people need to know the truth about the prophet Billy Beanne and the Holy Stat Head Theology.

Are there any rules I should know?
I have another excuse though. In 28 days Im leaving for a 4/5/6 month backpacking trip. If you live somewhere in Asia I'm willing to deliver the book to you in person. If thats cool count me in.
Is this closed? I have some interesting books I don't mind parting with.
I'm sending international also, so I' sending a book thats a little smaller than I intended.

Awesome, I will send him Stranger in a Strange Land and Starship Troopers. Without being sarcastic, I think you will like these books.
EDIT: Replacing Starship Troopers with The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Admit it, I chose the perfect FoC books.
Stranger in a Strange Land is great, but I fully expect The Moon is a Harsh Mistress to become FoC's new favorite book.spoiler (click to show/hide)When I was in HS I loved Heinlein so much -_-[close]
Cant wait to read them. I didnt really care for the starship troopers movie though...
as long as we're talking about Heinlein, have you read any Scalzi? Old Man's War is a fuck awesome space war novel
So which one of you manly mens sent me my book? It showed up today! Thanks!
Will let you know what I thought once I read it but I've read a couple by this author already so early impressions are good. Cheers again!

I'm pretty wealthy, so for me it was more about the suspense and the surprise.
Bummed it wasn't Atlas Shrugged though. :(
the Flatland movie is better
starring Kristen Bell as Hex

The Broken Sword is a fantasy novel written by the American writer Poul Anderson in 1954. Its importance was recognized in its later revival in paperback by Ballantine Books as the twenty-fourth volume of the celebrated Ballantine Adult Fantasy series in January, 1971.
The story is set into the Viking Age and develops the story of Orm the Strong; the story has many references to the Norse mythology and elements from the Viking age.
btw, Eric, I finished You're All Alone. Good premise, mediocre execution, but only 100 pages, so pretty much forgiven...
Did you ever get my book, Gillo? I know you've already read it, but I'd like to make sure it made it to you safe and sound.

i know
it was totally wasted!
i didn't see the men in black hats as gangsters
i saw them as a meaner version of the main antagonists but not a syndicate sort
we don't really have much information on them beyond the DEUS EX LAZY ENDING and the time he sees them in the department store.
i really like the first third as he just looses it. like when he shows up early for the date with his "girlfriend"
Package sent. Coming from Canada, so it may take over a week.

Where are you in Canada?
I'm further reminded that I finished An Alien Heat and it was enjoyable, though I don't feel compelled to finish off the trilogy.
It did get me back on a huge Cordwainer Smith kick.
