Anime fegs are my biggest pet peeves
Oh another one is when someone post a picture of real girls and everyone is like "too thin, too fat, I wouldnt hit that" when in reality everyone who says that would probably drink their own cum to have sex with the chicks.fucking seriously. at least admit that if you don't find her completely attractive you'd still nail the shit out of her.
E-Atheists: don't believe in god? good for you. but if you don't believe in god and don't like religion, don't fuck up religion threads just because. EB has some very smart people who have opened up my eyes, like Malek. Unlike most e-atheists he's pretty damn cool, doesn't needlessly attack religion every opportunity he gets, etc. Fuck those people
PD: TNW is the perfect example of an obnoxious japanophile. He hates everything American and shits on it every chance he gets. desu desu! fucking jackass. And the idiots on GAF who go to Japan and start threads about what to see but really are only interested in shit like akihabara and the nintendo museum.

Remember that thread on GAF a few years ago about a dude who went to japan but ended up staying in an airport hotel for the first 3 days cause he was scared to go out?
:lol :lol
people who think they have the best taste in everything. Example: there's this gay guy on this one forum who thinks he's above everyone else because he watches reality tvreality tv? that seems a bit backwards
you know what creeped me out? some thread on GAF a while back where a guy asked if others were also afraid of talking to children in public because they didn't want to be labeled a pedophile.
what the fuck is wrong with these people that they assume that's the first thing that comes to peoples minds? that's fucking sick IMO. it's not fucking normal. Most people don't care. Like if I'm in line at a grocery store and some little kid is staring at me. Make funny faces back. Who gives a fuck? fucking weirdos. It really creeped me out that there were so many people agreeing with him.
white people always judging other people of different skin color
Anime fegs are my biggest pet peeves, followed by elitist movie homos.
Now that thread I do remember Mupepe. Paranoia to the max.
And wtf Himu about white people judging others? Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell.

I haven't seen skin color being an issue really, I mean I don't know who's black or not. I'd say gay people have it harder then blacks on the infrawebs. Cause everything is gay you know.

Not too much of an interbutt pet peeve, but more of an IRL pet peeve. I fucking hate Mactards. They are those people into trends and style and will gladly bend over so Steve Jobs can forcably penetrate their anus, no matter what the cost.

Console warriors. Just annoying. These are corporations not religions. Get a life and a girlfriend. The majority of the world doesn't care about which video game system "wins".
Anime tards: not people like MAF/Patel who seem to like cool stuff and aren't obsessed with it. I'm talking about the "senshe doku tensi 7 is probably the greatest film of all time, and if angela ooshiwa was a real person she'd be my waifu" types.
Sony fans: no point in talking bad about Nfans, at least they seem to live in some form of reality. Sony fans on the other hand have no reality to call their own, so they wind up trying to steal reality from other people. people in the "i have a successful videogame console" reality are especially targets for sony fans

Japan-ophiles: has any other country been praised for mediocrity more than Japan? people online seem to think that if something came from japan, no matter how shitty it is, it MUST be awesome. these people have little interest in the beauty of the japanese country, or of the culture. instead they obsess over the dumbest shit the country has to offer, often praising bootlegged American talent/ideas/concepts/etc as eastern genius. perhaps the final step of this disease is the "apologist" stage, where people begin to either ignore or dismiss the blatant racism and xenophobia still alive and well in the country, as well as become revisionist historians with respect to the justified atomic bombings of WWII. tmv or whatever the fuck his name is comes to mind. if he was as critical of japan as he is of the US he'd be a bit more tolerable. i'm all for gay marriage, but i'd personally strip HIS marriage rights

PD just got points for revealing the plain truth: You can like anime without being a fuk moran about it.

I hate arguments im losing the most; so much as to completely avoid them when the going gets rough.
"Where did MAF go? I was telling him how things really are."
There's your answer kids. MY internet comes with an argument escape hatch.
Also Stanley Kubrick fans.
2001 is one of the most biggest pieces of tripe i'd ever see. He had two good movies - Shining and Clockwork Orange - and he didn't write either of them.
Every other movie of his is complete and utter shit. Lolita, 2nd half of Full Metal Jacket, 2001, Eyes Wide Shut.
I also hate the should of/would of/could of. It's HAVE, morons.

I correct people sometimes. I like to think that maybe I'm making society a little less dumb.I also hate the should of/would of/could of. It's HAVE, morons.
Yes.
Also people using "your" when it should have been "you're", and "I could care less" instead of "I couldn't care less". It especially drives me insane when I see the "your" mistake in some published works like an advertisement or something.
But I'm not one of those tossers who corrects people - those people are another one of my pet peeves. I just simmer quietly behind the keyboard.
could care less is one I see all the time and it makes me SO MAD I HAVE TO TELL THE BLOGOSPHERE!
I hate Japanese culture - we should ban it and watch the otaku and japafags melt.
lil wayne fans: the majority of them don't know anything about hip hop and attempt to hail wayne as some lyrical genius. i suppose he'd be a genius to me if my exposure to rap only consisted of young jeezy, soulja boy, and all the other southern snappers.
snotty nose liberals who bitch about FOX being conservative while casually ignoring the liberal slant of MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, and the big newspapers. and an extra SMH to anyone who'd retort "bububu the NY Times beat the Iraq war drum!"

There are signs all over the cafeteria at my work that have these crazy grammatical errors. One day I'm going to look at them and my eyes are just going to start bleeding.

its rap, not hip-hop. smh, theres a difference
The internet is pretty good really, but yeah I agree with all that high and mighty jfag crap
I hate when people use textspeak on the internet. It serves a purpose in text messaging because you can only use a certain number of characters, but there's no point in using ppl instead of people when you're actually online.I have real life friends that don't know the difference. :( Some of them at least have an excuse because they're not native English speakers, but some of them are just... :'( . The one that annoys me the most actually is when someone says "I'm going to loose my mind". WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE!
I DO enjoy the OMG and WTF and LOL, but other than that? There no reason for ppl and 2morrow and 4ever and h8 and stuff. Drives me batty.
I also hate the should of/would of/could of. It's HAVE, morons.
I pointed out TNW because he goes out of his way to rave about Japan and dog on America in almost every post.

TNW is a Japanophile. People who are just obsessed with anime, games, and other such shit are not. They're just pop-culture "okatu" freaks. But really, who cares? As long as I'm not being annoyed personally, it's not bothering me. It's when you try to gain attention that imma get pee-oh'd. See: tards like Applemilk and Maggybon.
Not going to happen. I've tried to do this with people in real life and it never rubs off. They ignore it. I have a ton of hispanic friends who always say sensible instead of sensitive and it drives me absolutely nuts. All of them do it! So when they say sensible, I'll reply with "They're not sensitive" hoping maybe they'll catch on. It's been like 4 years and they still do it :'(I correct people sometimes. I like to think that maybe I'm making society a little less dumb.

I do naively hope that half-way decent grammar rubs off on others.
A room with grammatically incorrect signs at every turn would drive me insane.

Dude, I'm in Japan, right? So that means I go to an arcade and get my ass kicked all over by the guys who seem to live there 24/7. Don't play GG in arcades, but I *DID* kick that ass in Battle Fantasia and Basara X when the arcades first got them. The former was such a shock to me that I was laughing my ass off.

That would be Patrick "You're big dumb hair makes you look like a fucking tool" Klepick who coined that term.

They actually have shmups in the arcades in japan. :'( I have to go to Canal St. in NYC if I want to rock some shmup arcade action. :gun

"Moonspeak" is kinda offensive too I suppose, but that's hilarious.
I got pretty pissed off at a guy who said "don't Pak me" at my old job once, by the way. It's not like I'd just get uppity over something said about Japan. This idiot was then like "haha, well it's like saying 'don't Jew me'," to which I replied "I'M Jewish." "Me too," he says. Easily one of the dumber people I've ever encountered. He left his textbooks in the store after he awkwardly left, too. I wanted to throw them out so badly.Or nips
I can't help but start laughing every time I see those crackers at the supermarket. Such a wrong name to use. :lol
:rofl :rofl Don't Pak me? wtf?

It's okay guys, Viz is taking it back.
The first half of FMJ is amazing. The second half is trash. It's probably a better to read it because the idea was meant as a book. I didn't like it though and the way it's overhyped by most people who watched/read it make me hate it. It's not even a good book and if it didn't have the shock value, it probably wouldn't even be published.
Whats the real ending to CO? I can't even really remember the other ending except for with the parents and his friends as cops.
I hate the religious people who no matter how much you reason with them, aren't willing to change their opinions because they think religion>*. It's because of them that I can stand the atheists that act like assholes. They're obviously doing that for fun plus they usually have a good base of evidence for all of their opinions.
The worst group of people are the misogynists though. I'm talking about people who get angry in real life every time that they see two tits and a purse.
it might be your most important belief but it shouldn't be used as evidence for your beliefs. some people just cross over that line and start comparing pictures of jesus with pictures of stephen hawkins as if that somehow proves something (I saw that once on OA at least). I'm talking about a small minority that have an irrational hatred of irreligoius people but they shit up just about every political thread unless the mods on your board are very fair.I hate the religious people who no matter how much you reason with them, aren't willing to change their opinions because they think religion>*. It's because of them that I can stand the atheists that act like assholes. They're obviously doing that for fun plus they usually have a good base of evidence for all of their opinions.Logically, if you believe in a religion that offers a choice between life everlasting and paradise and torment unending in a fiery Hell, religion IS more important than everything. This is why perfectly normal-seeming housewives strap explosives to themselves and get on school buses. You can only argue with people like that on their terms, I'm afraid. Or wait for them to realize what a hollow sham it all is.
The worst group of people are the misogynists though. I'm talking about people who get angry in real life every time that they see two tits and a purse.
Luckily, the vast majority of "religious" people I grew up around merely paid lip-service. But if they actually did believe, I'd expect them to take it more seriously than anything else, because it would be.
Most web comics and the people who find them funny. I am shocked when I see dozens of people praise a comic that spend several panels trying to explain the joke and why it should be funny. Mainly because there is someone out there who spend his time to think of and then draw this comic. The worst part is that the audience eats this shit up. It is almost like there is a generation of people who are too stupid to understand humor these days, so they are forced to rely on comics that need to spell out the joke and why they should be laughing. Of course, this isn't restricted to merely web comics, but they are usually the prime source of all this. And this isn't a "I don't think it is funny so no one should think it is funny!" thing, because there are times when I can at least understand why something would be funny, but personally I don't find it that amusing.
I hope you're not including Cyanide and Happiness in that.
Excluding that comic, I agree with you. Comics should not need to be explained as to why they are funny. Some might require more in depth reasons why they made the topic they did but you should still see something funny. Most web comics suck ass. A lot of them rely on either inside jokes (who nobody outside of the creator's three friends would give a flying fuck as to what they are talking about), trying to be deep when they can't (Tim Buckley), or just plain awful (Boston and Shaun, God Mode).
I can't stand it when someone says, "You've misunderstood me" or "You've misread me…"
It's not up to your audience to decipher the inner workings of the speaker's/author's mind. The person disseminating their viewpoint is responsible for putting it out in comprehensible fashion. Fuck you and your egotistic, non-Copernican universe.

Internet cosplay enthusiasts who suffix their name with “-sama“ or “-chan“ or “-tan“
Anybody with even a passing knowledge of Japanese, even first semester Japanese, knows that you do not ever apply an honorific suffix to your own name. Occasional using -tan is OK only if one ridiculously is flirting with the target. And the only time to use -sama is if you are a bad guy referring to yourself as ORE-SAMA, and it’s a kids cartoon.

It really isn't. You all is a thing that can easily and naturally be contracted to y'all anywhere that speaks the English language.Y'all doesn't qualify as English. It's something, but not English.

What about Logan-sama, famous Grime DJ (as far as grime DJs could be "famous")?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uylKLQwauJE
(I used to talk to him a lot on an old UK garage message board a few years before he blew up... he was definitely into anime and RPGs and stuff like that so the "sama" is probably deliberate).
Also it's interesting to read this thread some 13 years later... so many people I miss and wonder what happened to (Bildi, Tauntaun, Eel)... and a surprising amount of weeb hate compared to nowadays.

"You all" makes sense to some ESL, because some languages have plural forms of "you" that aren't present in English, so "Y'all" fills in that spot. :thinkingNothing has the power to make me quite as irrationally angry as when a *certain sort of person* (coastal 30-something white person with a liberal arts degree) says or types the word "y'all" :cacTry when someone NOT from the US uses it.
