Title: wagglefail continues: dq swords
Post by: Van Cruncheon on June 16, 2008, 06:05:40 PM
right when i'm starting to get into dq swords' arcadey rail shooter (sworder) take on a tired genre, it fucking ends. who makes 7 hour dq games? sure, it's more crossed swords and less an rpg, but fuck: why let me powerlevel and build characters if it ends in a pair of evenings?

I was always curious about this, never really heard much about it after it was released. Just assumed it sucked.

If your copy is in really good condition, hit me up with a PM and name your price... I'd be interested, if only from the DQ fanservice angle.

I assumed the same, and I feel safe in that assumption.

It pretty much IS Tumiki Fighters, just upgraded in a thousand ways. They even have an unlockable version of the original, along with a bunch of other Kenta Cho games.

Yes. The original is unlockable along with other kenta cho games. If you do rent it give blastworksdepot.com to forward user generated dlc to your wii. It has extensive editors for building your own bullet patterns/enemies/levels. Its also hard, even on Rookie.
Fair warning: generic ambient electronica, and fill color backgrounds galore.
