I went to 4chan on a whim yesterday and saw this Tom picture posted. Couldn't resist turning into an avatar. Best facial expression ever. The angle also works with the peeking thang.

Hell yeah. I was watching a rerun recently and its amazing the depth of these cartoons. Theres these sublte facial expressions and scenarios that you don't pick up on as a child.

I have some old Tom & Jerry on VHS - I really should try to find them on DVD.

Easily one of my favourite cartoons.  Right up there with The Roadrunner Show.

The reimagining of Tom and Jerry kind of blows. It seems like recent takes on these classics tend to solely rely on the slapstick humor. I almost want to say that theres no "love" in the animation (as in effort).
