I'm not gonna say it's real until I hold a cd in my hands. BTW, when Use Your Illusion I & II came out, I had my dad pick up copies of them for me as I was still in middle school at the time... and yup, I got the CASSETTE versions lolz. FUCKING AXL.
-
Axl sounds good.
Solo's are pretty good, but it's a little too mellow.
-
My God, this is a fucking abomination.
the music or the situation in general? :lol
I am so not into this kind of music any more, my taste has become retardedly eclectic, but I thought a few of the Chinese Democracy tracks on youtube sounded decent.
-
That youtube is horrible...

There better be a few decent ones in here. It took Rose over thirteen years to take a shit, I'm expecting at least a few peanuts.

yeah, don't think of them as 13 years of effort. There's a base level of suckiness that will be in any of these songs.

I got Use Your Illusion II for my 9th birthday, and then got it confiscated by my parents after they heard me blasting "Get In The Ring" on my boombox... :gloomy
-
Sigh. Get back with Slash Axl for fucks sake.

ahahahahahahaha

My mom had I & II. She'd get drunk and jam it loud as hell. :lol
-
The title song is pretty produced. Chorus is bad but I like everything else

not as good as some of the other mixes but I'll take it :bow
-
Apparently the nine tracks floating around recently are just old demos. Whenever the real thing shows up I'll give it a listen just to see wtf it sounds like.
-
:-X Wow two youtube clips are yuck.
-
I like it. There's not a single standout track but they're all well produced and worth listening to. Face the facts.... we're never going to get a GnRs CD like Appetite for Destruction. Axl's all that's left and he's older, his tastes in music have changed. I'm not sure if Slash would make a differene, at least in my opinion, I haven't cared for many of Velvet Revolver's stuff. I thought the riffs on Slither and Messages were catchy as hell.
-
The Rifts in VR are the only good thing of the dam band. They need to reunite and form the old GnR
-
They'll never make another Appetite for Destruction though. Those guys were living in suit cases during the creation of that album, boozing and doping non stop. They poured everything into that first album, in part to make a better life and in part to ensure more funds for future excesses. That's one of the reasons why many rap artists never succeed in besting their debut albums. That's the album that the heart is poured into. Everything else is watered down by expectations and label meddling.
Axl has been wasting studio resources and time for years and his label doesn't give a fuck. It's hard for that type of mentality to create a classic album
