Gaiman's A Study in Emerald (http://www.neilgaiman.com/mediafiles/exclusive/shortstories/emerald.pdf) is a fantastic Lovecraft/Sherlock Holmes alternate-history mashup.
BOOM! Studio's Fall of Cthulhu is awesome (Eric P can talk this one up).
Gene Wolfe's next book, An Evil Guest (http://www.amazon.com/Evil-Guest-Gene-Wolfe/dp/0765321335/), is LOVECRAFT IN SPACE. This is the best new genre ever. :bow Wolfe :bow2
If you're willing to dive into text adventures, Infocom's The Lurking Horror (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lurking_Horror) is a great Cthulhu-at-MIT story, while Anchorhead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchorhead_(game)) is a post-Infocom top-5 IF classic.
What else have you read that's Lovecraftian fanfic and PROUD OF IT

Lovecraft was also an incredible racist.

in his defense, the jews did kill christ.

Why settle with just Lovecraft fanfiction when you can have Lovecraft+Sherlock Holmes fanfiction?

There's also a game called Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened that runs with the same idea.
