Ya, GameStop has it early

It has 4p co-op online, but unsure how it works... would be awesome if you could play story with friends

Damn I died on the first battle... lol

The secret achievements on this game are :omg

War Medal (20) - Play online once. That's all!

Purple Heart (35) - Complete the first mission in less than 14 minutes. You can start a new game and just keep trying for this one.

^ Trying to get this one right now

Africa Star (45) - Find the Muramasa Blade, Dragon Slayer and Excaliber weapons. These ars secret swords that have to be collected from certain enemies in certain missions. There are only 1-2 chances in the entire game to get them, although some people managed to get them as rewards for online play too.

Solider's Medal (65) - Collect Valhalla Orders 1 - 12. A specific solider in each stage carries one of these from around ep 13 onward. You need *all* of these to get into the EX Missions near the end of the game, miss one and you can't go back for it + you'll lose access to over 300 achievement points.

Silver Star (70) - Finish missions 1 - 27.

Distinguished Service Cross (80) - Finish all 15 Armored Recon (AR) missions.

Military Cross (90) - Finish all 20 Extra (EX) missions.

Medal of Honor (95) - Finish stage 27 (final stage) with all AR and all EX missions also clear.

Victoria Cross (100) - Finish Mission 1 - 27 (just the story missions) within 35 hours.

^ uh oh

Finished Mission 2, game isnt very difficult so far, and the battles go pretty quickly. I really like how you can pilfer dead enemies for health, and ammo and guns.

The camera isn't bad, it's just really difficult to manage. If there was a permanent top down view I'd be all over this.

2.0 Presentation
A perfect example of how to turn a fun idea into pure tedium.

1.0 Graphics
The game technically does have graphics.

3.5 Sound
Terrible voice acting, but at least most dialogue is voiced.

3.0 Gameplay
How did they manage to mess up a camera in a turn-based strategy game?

3.0 Lasting Appeal
If you can find any joy in this mess, then you'll find many hours of deluded fun.

2.5 Terrible OVERALL

Is there anything redeemable about this game, Demi?

Still on Mission 3... as for redeemable? I'm not sure. It's pretty standard. You like these games, you might enjoy it. Its different in that you can pilfer dead bodies. You use kill points to buy basic items and equipment before missions. It is also kind of harsh in that, if any of your team members (aside from Recruits) die, thats it, game over. But the game is also generous because you can equip skills - notably, the auto-restore skill, which uses an healing item automatically after a certain health percentage (20% in my case). So all you need to do is carry a healthy stock of healing, and you can pilfer more if you need so, and you should do fine.

The achievements are pretty straight forward. $60 is extremely steep for this game, though.

fuuuuuuuuck I want this so bad even with the shit camera

and those reviewers giving scores like 2/10 and 4/10 are insane, keep playing the latest Gears of War clones, tards

this is the same gameplay as Fire Emblem, but with upbeat World War II music and guns, how can it NOT be awesome?

plenty of people like demi already confirmed that reviewers were ignorant shits with this one, so there

this ain't no joke, I was reading the 4/10 Gamesradar review and the guy keeps telling that "Atlus should've done this/shouldn't have done that with their game" when the game has been made by a completely different company and Atlus' american branch only localized and published it :lol

they should have fixed the camera  :(

i really wanted to support this but the camera killed everything that i liked in the game.

Atlus could have made changes. They've done it with other games. Aksys cut out three entire chapters from their Jake Hunter game.

edit: A better example would be Summon Age for DS. They completely pussified it, making it extremely easy, by giving you super healing items, and skills at the beginning of the game.
