Title says it all. I have an old fat PS2 from about 2003 or 2004 and I can't boot up rock band no matter what. Is there anyway to fix this or do I need to find a replacement PS2?
Oh and is there anything like frets on fire for the drums yet? I'd love a PC app that had PS2 drum support.

Time to throw it out and get a slim PS2. It's done.
-
fat ps2s are incredibly prone to such errors, the laser will die
the failure rate is very high
-
put a HDD in there and get HD Loader
-
Why didn't you get Rock Band for the 360?
-
clean lens.
-
cleaning the lens is a bitch, my fat ps2 has similar probs so I gutted the thing and cleaned it out. just do it, tons of faqs and stuff on the net
-
You wont get shit for your PS2 anyway
-
Rewind, why the fuck did your dad force you to get RB on PS2?
-
Oh so you don't live with him, and the 360 isn't at his house?
-
Oh.
Glad I got to the bottom of that!
