I must say, I really liked the Spider-man game that came out around the second movie, but the combat was really a pretty huge let down. I heard that they didn't improve it much in the next game iteration, so i skipped that one. Looks like this time around they managed to keep all the awesome swinging action and make the fighting match. This is actually on my radar now.

Hopefully everyone will check out the trailer and get excited - I know it's been rough for Spidey fans - the 3rd movie, Kirsten Dunst in general, and the 3rd game wasn't so hot either. Stay strong true believers!!

I like how they list "Kristen Dunst in general" as a downer for spidey fans

Ultimate Spiderman was FUCKING AWESOME.
Why we didn't get a sequel...we'll never know.

There was already a thread about this here I think.
I am looking forward to it.

Is this another edition of "GTA: Spider-Man?" Time to do something new.

the videos I saw looked really promising.
it's really weird saying that about a spiderman game

They are doing a few things different, but it is really just going to be doing the Spider-Man formula right this time. Swinging is a given, combat looks nice, and now all they have to worry about is story, which they have freedom with since it is non-canon based on the comics. There is also a light/dark thing going on...yeah, surprise surprise.

I wish Shaba made a sequel to Grind Session.

Nice stuff in that trailer. I'll be waiting patiently for a demo.
