Does anyone here want this game still?  The Simon Pegg note is pretty neat but even he can't save a shit game.

Oh and here's the R2 scan:

I'm interested in R2 now. Reminds me of one of the Cloverfield monsters.

Well, they probably want to take back what was theirs.

And FRD should probably just stick to TS here. At least that way I can comfortably ignore it.

Well, if you're going to be referencing Cloverfield in the fucking post, you're asking for the comment to be made.  I don't believe there was any theft going on, but the similarities are certainly there.

Yeah, I'm sure the similarity to Cloverfield is like Halo being similar to Aliens.  Well, except to a much smaller degree.

And I hope TS4 doesn't get fucked up.

Who's making TS4? Is it still Free Radical? I liked the first two mainly for the multiplayer and the challenge modes. Never did play the third game though.

Pegg hasn't been contacted about this, but I sent an email to someone who can ask about it.

I've owned Timesplitters 3 for about two years now, and I still haven't played it. I loved Timesplitters 2, I don't know why I never bothered.

i now care about resistance 2 for the first time

i actually really liked resistance 1, but somehow what we've seen of the sequel hasn't done it for me

4 real, Ive played sooooo much Timesplitters 2. A friend of mine got like 99% complete on that game  :o A pretty good achievement, some of the challenges were tough as nails to get golds on

First time I've seen a screen of Resistance 2... looks much better than R1. Played the demo of R1 and thought it looked horrible, and the gameplay was a tad on the generic side.

resistance 1 keeps getting better as you go along...the visuals and the gameplay. it feels as if they actually built the levels in order.

You mean it built one too many levels... you could trim at least a third off. It's fat. Useless. Not that there's anything wrong with fat.

sure, as long as it's the first third

As much as I understand why they included it, I really didn't think the Cheddar Gorge level was needed, and certainly not exciting. The tank levels also felt out of place, as if they decided that "oh shit, we need tank levels" and just put very little effort into it.

Additionally, I really hope these boss encounters feel epic. Insomniac sort of screwed up with the Widowmaker, making it less than what its appearance suggested that it'd be. I hope this Leviathan motherfucker rips apart skyscrapers and send the rubble crushing down on my troops. And the game really needs gigantic Chimera scorpions and centipedes.

TS3 has great multiplayer but awful singleplayer.  Hopefully the campaign is fun like the first two games.
