They suspended my account again because I didnt have the funds for XBL and they kept trying to charge my credit card and couldnt get any money. Now after a month of not getting moneys they suspended me from even XbL Silver and I can't even go onto marketplace unless I pay them the $100 they want for "back dues" ::)
Fuk u microsoft
-
Owned, maybe you should like, not be so poor
-
How do you owe $100 for past dues?
-
Microsoft hates poor people.
:piss filthy poors :piss2
-
Thanks for reminding me that my gold account ends in August. Gotta head down to a store and pick up some of those cards for cheap.
-
wtf, $100? How does that work?
-
when a payment gets rejected, they don't just knock you down to silver? that's dumb
-
Nope, they keep trying and trying and keep adding the $7.99 bill to it. So I guess it ran out a while ago and they just all of a sudden suspended it.
also for those saying "why didnt you cancel" it's because whenever I would call them to cancel they'd make something up and say I need to pay them $25 to go back to silver. It was stupid.
-
Prime example of why never to give MS your credit/debit card to pay for Live. You're always better off looking for a deal in a store.

Yeah, you don't think about that when you're booting up your 360 for the first time, and you just want to get online. And once you put in your CC# once, you're screwed forever, or at least until you call up CS and convince them to take your CC off your account.
-
Yeah you should have cancelled it.
I tried, but the ingin said "you owe us 25 doller"
-
lol paying for online gaming
xbox 360, trailblazer of the generation, going places where no other non-DRM'd, non-chainshackled PC dares to go
-
huh, so when you owed them 25 dollars they told you?
Yeah. I got my first notice a while ago that they couldnt charge my card and I knew before (this happened to me before) that I had to go back to silver. I call up and they say I owed them $25. Fuck that.
Now they say I owe them $100 and I can't get silver or download anything unless I pay these ingins.

XBL has really proven to be a little bitch right now. My account got suspended due to my credit card being canceled. Fine, so I figure since I have this loaner 360 for a few weeks now, I'll just sign up for a month of Gold. Except when I select "update profile", it goes to the profile management page, and then swiftly (well, as swift as the clunky 360 interface can do anything) boots back to the gamer profile select screen. So instead of updating my CC info from the actual console, I have to through xbox.com. Piece of shit service.
-
I only use pre-paid cards for paying Xbox live gold because of the hassle you have to go through with cancelling/renewing etc.

Yep that same exact thing happened to me.
-
it's obviously MS's fault that you maxed your CC.
yeah fuck ms.
-
Who said I maxed my CC you cuntface

In my case, it's not the suspension that bugs me (although I think it's sort of distinguished mentally-challenged that they shut off the free component as well), but the hassle I have to go through to pay the bill and resubscribe.
-
I signed up for XBL with a credit card that no longer exists too.
I imagine you'll be seeing a thread like this by me in 2 or 3 years or whatever.

WINNAR!
-
wow that sounds really fucking dumb. i have a cc tied to the system but not to pay for xbl. i just use it to buy points so I can buy dlc or shit off xbla or the rental service.
-
This generation it seems anything that relies on Microsoft's customer service in even the tiniest way is likely to lead to disaster.
Prepaid cards for XBL = win.

You can get a one year card on buy.com for $35 if you use google checkout which gives $10 off your first purchase.

Wow, I already knew they were a sleazy company but this shit just takes the cake. I would think the moment they couldn't charge your credit card, you would just be knocked down to silver. End of story. What kind of distinguished mentally-challenged fellow company would handle that any other way?
-
Because if they keep charging you they can make you pay later for it, or they send you to collections.

yeah me too. I have my CC logged into my gamercard to buy MS points though, nice when you feel like a new game like, right away
