Help me find Oprah EB.  It's the right thing to do.

She's been gone since Saturday night when we let her and her brother outside to chase june bugs.  *sniff*  Sucks really.  That was my girl.  Checked the shelters and animal control....nothin'.

Be sure to put an advertisement in the local newspaper as well.  If anyone picked her up, they'll likely check there for a previous owner.

 :'(. Keep faith, though, one of our cats disappeared for over two days once, and showed back up fine. Definitely put up some flyers.

a friend of mine had a cat dissapear for months on more than one occasion.  she would always come back, though sometimes she'd be a little busted up.

I just made some flyers in Illustrator but my printer is out of ink so it looks like I'll have to finish it up tomorrow at the lab.  Now we're off to bug the hell out of the neighbors and ask them about her.  If one of 'em has been keeping her....BAM!  Elbow to the face!  TO THE FACE!

I had a friend with a dog once, he used to give him free roam of his property. The neighbors would feed the dog constantly, then let it in their backyard, then let it in their house, they pretty much tried to steal it.

Did you have a collar it? I've had a collar with Jinx's name and my cell phone number since I got her. Plus I put a bell on her so I dont step on her. Sure she hated it at first, and gnawed the first name tag into nothingness, but its worth it.

No collar but she is microchiped, of course that'll only do us good if she shows up in a shelter.

Still looking'.  Angie is outside right now combing the neighborhood like a wild woman.  I mean I REALLY want to find the cat too but she's out there screaming like a drunken hobo.  Awwwk-warrrd.  It's like I'm dating someone straight out of the state hospital.

Oh noes, that cat looks like a fluffier version of my cat. We microchipped her, but we rarely put her collar on anymore because she hates it so much. That, and she's way too little to be allowed outside, there's too many stray dogs and nasty cats around here.

Oh no, I hope she comes back soon and safely!

I've heard of people having luck by putting something familiar outside, with hopes she follows the scent. Maybe a bed if she has one and a t-shirt you wore? Sometimes outside cats can get into fights and become disoriented, and the theory is the scent helps them find their way back home.

Also, flyers and newspaper ads! I'd also alert any local shelters and vets, maybe send them or show them a picture and let them know she is microchipped and belongs to you.

My cat, Melanie, was missing for like a week once when she was little. She ran outside while my aunt was in the door or something. I'd walk around and call her name and I was so upset. She came home in the middle of the night, while it was pouring down rain, with not a drop of water on her. No idea how. My mom woke me up to give her to me. :) I hope Oprah's story has a happy ending and she finds you again soon!

Holy crap.  I had given up hope on finding her but I woke up this morning and saw Oprah kneeding a pillow on the floor.  No idea where she's been but she smells like gasoline and has a few clumps in her coat but she's back.  Happy day, happy day.

My parents' old cat would go on forest hunting sprees lasting weeks. Just when you thought he was gone for good, he'd show up with some impressive catch on the doorstep. And then stay inside for days. Yet when my own cat was gone for just a night, I was actually growing concerned simply because this is a populated area. Generally, there's no real point in worrying about it.

Cool beans!  Cats are pretty great about being able to find their way home, even if they haven't been outside much/at all.  I'm glad she came back though.
