Title: Goodbye, California! (... in two weeks)
Post by: The Fake Shemp on July 01, 2008, 11:15:14 AM: I fly out of Oakland. I interviewed for one of the top stores in the DC/MD/VA region during the weekend and was offered the position yesterday. And I took it.

Los Angeles and North Carolina strung me along!

It's disgusting. And that picture was taken from my cameraphone, so I'm in the middle of it.

California has its perks. The Bay Area is pretty neat, minus the awful air quality. But my social circle is collapsing and family is non existant. I've had a LOT of personal troubles, of which some here can attest to, to the point where I think I need a change of scenery pretty badly. I've been downright miserable the past several weeks.

I will be relocating to luxurious Montgomery County, Maryland - which is where I was born and raised. It's a suburb of Washington D.C. I will be taking over a store in the same county, probably on the 16th or 17th.
