LAst week was such a fucked up week. I worked so many painful unhealthy hours on that document. This week im kicking back tho.
- Aphex Twin: I hadnt listened to any of this for a while. ITs pretty old and worn/played out ya know. I rocked "Druqs" a 2 disk LP and am so taken back and impressed. Much futhur into the future of the 200X's electronic music releases, nobody releases such complete feeling, themed and epic albums.
- Chris & Cosey: Thru the week listened to Collectiv3 and one of the more modern remixx albums. I alos rocked a TG remix album thru the week "Muntant TG" Much more respectable release that most of the other classics thru the chopper albums.
- Gescom: 1 pass of the 'minidisk' segments with the machine set to random ;)
Looking back on the week, I cant isolate what sound archtype made me feel most productive while being the least distracting. Likely Rapoon.

What on earth is that from?
IS this like the new macarena or something?

Also when I say I havent listened to diceman for a while - I mean like I have not sat down and listened to a full LP. I have so much of his stuff its on most random batches most of the time.

No, it's just some rap song I felt like quoting in here because someone linked me to it on youtube.
I don't really use my PC to listen to music much anymore, but seriously though:

I would have never guessed you to listen to MM.

1. This is Bartok's Mikrokosmos, which range from simple etudes to technically advanced jizz sprayers. There are 50 some pieces to it total and I was leaning on the more jizz-aligned pieces.
2. I was listening to a lot of Bowie singles last week, especially while drivin' round.
3. Domestica and the good songs off of their other albums. Domestica is the only one that is awesome front to back.
4. This is Hissing Fauna, of course, which I guess is my favorite by them.
4. <3 DM
4. Beethoven's later piano sonatas, some of the most demanding piano music out there. This would be 27, 28, 29, and 32. I am not particularly fond of 30 and 31. 30 has a spiffy first movement and 31 has a pretty nice scherzo, but it's nothing that's not done better elsewhere.
7. Most of Rabbit Habits, which I kinda love.
8. Shostakovich's preludes and fugues. Not the most technically demanding stuff, but it's all very well done and adequately moody. I've heard that these pieces where actually Shostakovich's favorite out of his entire career, which is kinda cool.
8. This is either Shostakovich's string quartets or Bartok's. Maybe bits of both. I was definitely listening to both recently.
8. Was listening to Night Ripper in my car. I forgot to put the new one on my iPod.

Yeah? I used to really dig him. I just recently got his greatest hits CD, but I'm not really a fan of his new CD. If last.fm was updated for this week, I'd probably have a whole lot of plays from The Offspring's new CD.

I literally set up my account the day before they compile the lists so the results are skewed
