Dude Raider
I'm shocked the game didn't sell that well in the U.S.
Shoulda started this tomorrow, you're losing trophies.
shitty shooting mechanics and waves of enemies make this shit
Dude Raider? More like Douche Raider.
L oh L
fun (albeit "automatic") platforming
fun (albeit "automatic") platforming
How's that fun? That's exactly what I hated about the platforming. I would have enjoyed Uncharted much more if it were more Dude Raider than a weird blend of Gears of War and Sahara.
it's kind of a shit game is why

Yeah, it has this Xbox 360 game feel of the environments being static, and dead.
dead rising.

Pffft, you've already admitted to liking it. FAIL.
That reminds me, I should get around to actually finishing this game on of these days.spoiler (click to show/hide)fucking trigens :punch[close]
There's a nice amount of variety in environments, based purely on vegetation and lighting conditions. Very pretty game.

I'm surprised an art cigarillo like you think it's pretty . The character art is terrible except for maybe Sully.
From what I played of the demo you spend much more time awkwardly shooting at bad guys and very little tomb raiding style gameplay.
It's only 8 hours long and beautiful. You could spend that time playing a shitty ass shooter, like Turok or Stranglehold.

Or a good shooter, like COD4 and Halo 3.
i am unashamed to admit that kittonwy has rendered the game unplayable for me -- even the godawful dialogue and character modeling couldn't do that

:bow Uncharted :bow2
People are just jealous that the 2 best looking games this gen are on the PS3.
i thought it was a decent game for the most part, but i didn't like thespoiler (click to show/hide)zombie/whatever parts[close]
they made me feel like i was fighting with the controls
if there's a sequel, i'd like more adventuring/platforming, as i had a lot of fun with those parts of the game
wtf, Uncharted did end up selling well, it didn't do that good in the November NPD but it did very well in December and in the subsequent months, and that's not even adding up all the sales in PAL territories
well enough to rack up some profits and warrant a sequel
fairly good game but too short and the shooting gets repetitive
I actually didn't mind the change too much since it only lasted for a little bit before the old style of playing came back. Plus while it was there, it wasn't a bother. It was also made shooting without aiming a good strategy.
I liked the game well enough to see it through, but I have to admit - like prof, I'm not comfortable having any opinions in common with a 35 year old furry pedo GAFstar.

For me it wasn't even sunk by that, but it did get very annoying to read post after post proclaiming that this was somehow a revolution in game design, with an epic story no less. I guess it's fine to think and say that, but when it turns into a chant to repel "critics" (such as myself, really) who mostly seemed to enjoy this good action game with good action adventure qualities but failed to spot this supposedly remarkable achievement and high water mark in terms of everything, then it's just fucking obnoxious.
