And - wow! - she didn't change at all.  She may have left more determined against gay parenting than before. :lol

It was cringe worthy to see the two gay dudes sit down and talk to her in a civil, logical manner and she just sat in her delusional world.

The reality is that two gay parents are better than no parents, which is what happens to a lot of kids stuck in foster care.  And these guys had a loving, healthy environment for the kids - she even acknowledged that.  But it's God's will that won't let two gay men raise a child.

The main problem came down to this, they were willing to agree to disagree.  But she didn't just disagree, she wanted to proactively ban gay parents from raising children.  And that's the problem.

It's probably because if a gay couple wants a kid, they are more likely to actually WANT a kid, whereas fuckups like Christians and Mormons have all sorts of kids by accident and think they can still raise them well.

I think that that woman, who used to be a foster child, actually adopted her kids so her views on adoption will scare the shit out of anyone.  She actively wants their to be legislation to ban gay couples from adopting (I don't know how that would work).

The other weird thing is that she seemed to be able to talk normally with the guys about things unrelated to adoption but talking about the reason for her month-long experiment brought out all sorts of batshit buzzwords.  I don't think she has a hatred of all gays but she just can't understand that gay people are perfectly capable of raising children.

This and the atheist living with christians episode were the two "fails".

mom: you can't trust them around children obviously

You would think that.  You better not have a man parenting a girl in that case, either.  I mean, how did your father refrain from sexually abusing you?

I don't know about that though, there are a lot of people who really, really want to have kids, because they feel the need to nurture, yet fail to really consider the consequences. I suppose there is a bigger hurdle though for gay couples though, so maybe there's a greater sense of responsibility there. God people in general are also too prone to pass the buck to God whenever shit becomes complicated, so that's an immediate minus there.
