The average marriage age in the US is 25. So no, it's not that nuts.

I bet my family $400 that I will have remained single by 40.  I look forward to collecting that $400!

Sorry TVC15/Whiteman, I got called out, I have to respond!

Do you like married life so far with you being so young and all?

Married life is good. I'd been living with my wife for 1.5 years before we got married, though. Cohabitation seems to have worked for us, so far at least!

How did you propose?

We used to live right near Kerry Park in Seattle (really famous park that overlooks the city), so we went for a nice long walk around our neighborhood, I was playing with the ring in my pocket the whole time. Once we came back around the loop to stop at the park, I got down on a knee and proposed. Nothing fancy, but she liked it.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

12 days in Japan -- Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima, and Miyajima.

Eh, I figured 25 was a fine age to get married. Now, kids, on the other hand... we're not even thinking about that for at least five more years.

27 to get engaged but that is a few years old. It's been rising and rising. People seem to want career's first before getting married it seems.

I expect it to be 30 pretty soon.

What age do they get divorced at?  I'm sure there's a massive statistic for that...
