Oh, EricP. Between Black Flag and the Dead Kennedys and now this, you're going to have me listening to everything I kept on repeat in high school and college.
patel doesn't need a book to teach that :-*(http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/3852/15892727na7.jpg)

Need this in Steam form and wanted to support Tilted Mill's effort to go indie with the game. $20 is cheap to boot.

QuoteBought a house? Congrats, if you did. That's a big move.
unless something goes SPECTACULARLY wrong, then yeah. Will post details once it's complete.
2 years of searching finally over - i might even get to see Cormacaroni, Sho Nuff, Groo etc. going forward!

Congrats on the house DCharlie!!! I find it amazing the amount of people who get a piece of your buying pie in the whole process. Mafia like.
It will feel good making a mortgage payment vs. throwing the money away on rent. I hope you got a good interest rate.spoiler (click to show/hide)Next will come the kids!! :hyper[close]

My rate was 2.8%, fixed over 35 yrs :D
If there's one thing Japan does right, it's mortgage interest rates.

overlord: raising hell for ps3 because i felt sorry for my ps3, also i wish to support triumph studios in the hopes that they will make age of wonders 3
forgot how awesome overlord is, though
Why anyone would take a variable rate mortgage over that length of time is beyond me. Yet apparently most people do.
I guess in the US there is the phenomenon of people treating a house purchase as a rental, with no intention of living there after the variable rate mortgage comes up for reevalution. It's all fine as long as you can sell up at a profit and 'rent' somewhere else on comparable terms. At some point, people get burned with that approach of course.
QuoteThe benefits of living in a zero inflation world. Although all that looks like changing soon, my rate is still fixed
yes, i will be going fixed rate for certain - no point in gambling when the rates look like they'll be on the up and up.
