I dunno. Aronofsky wouldn't be on a list of 10 directors that spring to mind when I think of Robocop. He's never shown a sense of humor, and I think his sort of preachy tone won't mesh well with the very overt world of the first Robocop movie. I really don't expect this remake to be a big, let's try something new movie.
At the moment I don't particularly buy that Aronofsky is attached.
