Title: Sigma Harmonics - first trailer

I'm really looking forward to this game, the battles look similar or better than the PSX FF battles and the theme song (Harmonia vita) seriously sounds awesome.

It's a murder mystery adventure RPG and it's being made by Square Enix. Kitase's part of the staff, he's famous for being apart of most of the PS FF's (FF7, 8, X, Fabula Nova Crystalis).

if folklore didnt' make you play both campaigns, it would have been great.

Can you expound on that some? I'd like to try folklore but I don't really want to have to play it twice or whatever.

there are two characters you can play as--ellen and keats.  they both collect folks in similar ways, but they have different abilities.  ellen plays better in my opinion.  but you play the same levels with both characters... so you basically play the game twice.  once you get far enough with one character, it'll tell you to catch up with the other - so you can't beat it without playing both and send the game back.

i suggest renting it and playing through ellen's side.  then go with keats until you get bored.

This seems like something SE would translate. I'm sure it'll be localized.

I think the battles look fine, but I can't tell what's going to be going on outside of battle. I just see talking heads and a jewel minigame. I might just end up getting the soundtrack to this (Hamauzu!).

I'm sure they'll have to reorient the dialogue boxes for a US release.
