Title: Some new Killzone 2 gameplay footage

Well, it's got one hell of a look going for it. I'm going to shut up about game quality until I get to play it for myself, but yeah... visuals and sound, it's pretty damned striking.

This is mainly just an expanded version of the footage they showed on the 1upshow.  Same level and all that.  Still looks great.

Oh. Well, I never watch the 1up show.  :-[

I'm sort of surprised though, as this looks like an actual game. It's the first time I've gotten the impression that there may, odds against and all, actually be a game under all that presentation. Sort of cool.

It'd be better if FF13 was exclusive

I just really want to see new environments.

I know they exist!

That's one of the (very) few things Killzone 1 did right, both in terms of variety and design. I want to see more jungle and dune areas.

Haze was like the opposite of this. I decided that I was going to get myself hyped over some cool concepts, and then the game was rotten banana. This I have assumed would be a very pretty, epic, shitty game since it was announced, and now it looks like it may actually be a real game there. Basically, if you see me blindly supporting or blindly hating on anything, just stay on the opposite and you might be alright.

Shane said that we'll see other types, but I don't know how varied the planet could be.

Also, new weapons shown plz.

I want to see some up close and personal kills. Which would be the other thing Killzone did really well, the thud-gurgle knife throw.

See, now would be a perfect time to show a some stealthy, thud-gurgly level. Theater of war, big explosions, got it. So enough of that. The dude is supposed to be a special forces dude, isn't he? Show us some commando, up close and personal Rambo kill shit. In the jungle.

I want this (knife throw and kill)

And oh man, I had forgotten how annoying Killzone was. At least they seem to have gotten the dialog under control this time around.
