Looks ok.
-
that looks very serene. and there's so much color omg.
i'm not fond of the new mix of that track, though.
-
Again, :bow Swedes :bow2
-
looks good, but ME STILL NO RIKEY character design
also is that imogen heap? smh
-
a lot more interesting than the first trailer
-
Game of the show so far.
-
I can't wait to play their buggy mess of a game. I bet it'll be awesome, though.
-
a lot more interesting than the first trailer
It's pretty cool how it picks up right where the continuous gameplay of the previous trailer ended. Beautiful, beautiful game.
I wonder how many little Parkour-wannabes this game will spawn though.
-
I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH ALREADY. this is the first thing that truly got me excited out of e3
-
Prettiest game of the show I've seen.

Everything else looks ridiculously drab. Why don't companies use color for games any longer?
-
This game has one of the narrowest color indexes of all games shown at E3 so far, dude. It's all in the style. It's bright, and clearly, the art director has a good sense for balance and composition. It's really very bold.
-
That video reminds me of the feeling that I got from many times that I climbed to the top of the tallest buildings in Crackdown and just looked out at the world.
-
I just realized that part of the reason why I love the look of this game 'cause it appears to use the same 'fisheye' FOV settings that I used to play Quake/2/3 with. It makes you feel so insanely fast and agile for some reason.
-
This trailer reminds me of my life
-
First person platformer. :-X :-X :-X
-
My opinion remains unchanged:
It is the most visually arresting game I've seen in years.
-
This trailer reminds me of my life
playing 360 games...?

More gameplay from EA conference that wasn't shown. Straight through the old trailer level and the person playing messes up a few times, so you can see how they can fuck up.
-
needs a little polish in some areas but it's shaping up nicely.
-
OMG! It even does story stuff in game and interestingly. This is my dream game.
-
Anyone know what song that is in the trailer?
-
When I saw the first trailer and it said that it was all gameplay footage, I didn't believe it. Now, seeing someone actually play the game, I still don't believe it!!
:bow DICE :bow2

Anyone know what song that is in the trailer?
Alcorus - Shine
-
Thanks!

If you need a rapidshare link, I have one.

When she jumped for the helicopter, pangs of acrophobia... :-*
-
Why have these runners not developed machines that they can remote pilot instead of all this parkour nonsense? Ignoring the plot holes though, this game is really getting me excited. Dead Space looks to be coming together too. Wow EA, what are you doing!? :hyper
Kicking ass. EA gets a bum rap, some of it is deserved, but the company is nowhere near as sterile and "safe" as some make it out to be.
-
EA has been on fire for like 2 years. Only bitter haters disagree.
-
And I'm so happy that Rage is being published by EA, and not Activision.

well it's kinda weird. they still do the same shit they've been doing. it just so happens that they have a few developers they give more freedom to. and their EA partners program is good too (like with valve).
a definite thread of improvement -- but not necessarily a redefining change
-
God damn the gameplay looks stunning!
-
Again, this is nothing new. EA has been at the forefront for a while, but it can't be expected to be in its prime at all times. Now we are apparently experiencing a peak, which is awesome. But nothing new.

They only thing they do wrong is the sport franchise whoring (no spinning that) and their definitely on the forefront of microtransactions (but that's a wave everyone's riding.)
Their output over the last 2 years at least has been excellent. Lots of varied titles, most of them pretty nicely polished.
I don't grudge on companies. If they do right by me I'm not gonna look for things to hate.
-
hmm, i don't know if i can give EA a pass on the movie game whoring just yet...but then again, everyone does that and they're easily avoided.
-
Yeah, EA has very good lately. If you want to hate one someone, hate on Activision and their 20 Spider-Man games, dead Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk series, and their soon to die Call of Duty series.

walkthrough.
NOW I'm impressed with the game. holy shit.
-
I love this game already. I think I could run around rooftops like that for hours at a time.
-
Here's a better quality version of the Mirror's Edge EA demo.

Very very interesting game. Very unique.
-
I'm not sure why, but I haven't really heard of this game.
The walkthrough looked interesting. I like the idea you can get through the whole game without shooting anyone.
Edit: Holy crap, this is DICE's game? I really haven't been keeping up.
:heartbeat DICE :heartbeat

I'm surprised that DICE demonstrated Mirror's Edge on a PS3 rather than the 360 (I was not sure, but according to someone at the conference, they were using a PS3 on stage). These days, it seems very rare for any studio to give a presentation using the PS3 version. Of course, DICE has already worked on both platforms so it's not as if they need to learn one over the other. That must mean that the PS3 version is at least on par with the 360 version otherwise they would not have shown it (as you always want to leave the best impression).
The game looks rather stunning, though. I'm not sure about the storyline they're aiming for, but the gameplay and presenation is truly incredible looking.
-
I think they demonstrated Dead Space (which also looks pretty hot) on PS3 also.
What has become of Peter Moore :'(
-
I think EA has gotten smart. Start on PS3 and port to 360. Worked for Burnout. I also think that the sixaxis is used for balancing at some of those segments in the video. I don't know. I would think PC is main version.
-
Ballin
-
I haven't stopped thinking about this since yesterday. It's one of my most anticipated games now.
-
The more I think about the second half of this year, the more excited I get. Seriously, every few minutes I remember another game that's coming out and it's driving me crazy that these games AREN'T OUT YET!!
-
Same here. In passing I figure there's not much coming, but there's probably at least 10 must-haves on the way by Christmas.
-
btw, if anyone thinks this game is automatic or going to play itself for you, go watch the IGN demo. This guy fucks up bitch time and becomes curb meat at least 3 times in that walkthrough. At times he even didn't step back enough to build up momentum to make a big jump and ended up going splat.
-
Wow this looks amazing, I might actually need a 360.

It's also coming to the PC (60 fps!!) and PS3. Back at GDC, they showed off the PC version and now they are showing off the PS3 version. They've yet to show it on 360 (though I'm sure it will look just as good).
