I mostly listen (http://www.last.fm/user/VALIS666) to obscure hippy shit so posting a chart would be pointless. But modern day albums I've been digging this week are Boris' "Amplifier Worship" and Plants & Animals self-titled. Both fucking ace.

as much as i love PSB i'd never seen them live until their last tour where i made up for it by getting the $80 tickets. That was a great show. Nearly every song I loved with a nice interlude of Home and Dry

Im not into areena shows - but PSB is always worth the 80-120$ for the production values.

they actually didn't do a stadium show in dc, they played an old theater known as the DAR Hall, which is an ancient theater here in dc.

I'm really liking Beth Gibbon's colab album with Rustin Man. It's a departure from the more reserved Portishead stuff, in terms of vocals and lyrics. The first song on the album made me go wtf, she actually sounds kinda happy lol
I got Massive Attack's Mezzanine album too, mainly because Triumph said it wasn't as good as their previous albums ha. Overall I like it. Not a fan of the rambling, low key spoken word vocals on a few of the tracks (although I like it on Inertia Creeps).
