Good: It's finally going up tonight

Bad: IT'S STILL NOT UP

Thread made for frustrations.

You can't do this all at once, just like PSN cards you need a gradual rollout.

What the hell is that alll about anyway?  I downloaded that trailer and I'm still confused.  It's an anime movie by Sony for the PS3?

It's an anime series made by Studio BONES (Cowboy Bebop movie, Escaflowne movie, Full Metal Alchemist, Wolf's Rain, Eureka Seven, etc.). BONES was trying to get it on TV for the Spring 2008 season in Japan, but it looks like Sony snapped up the rights to it, thus putting it on PSN.

i liked the art style of xam'd.  reminded me of FLCL a bit with the whole organic robot thing going.

The director was the assistant director on Spirited Away and Eureka Seven, and directed individual episodes of Scrapped Princess, Overman King Gainer and Eureka Seven. The character designer did a lot of key character animation for Eureka Seven, which is why the designs are similar.

Looking at the production team, a lot of them used to work for Studio Ghibli on Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle.

I haven't got on the Video Store yet. Besides, I'm not sure I'm willing to spend $4 to watch an episode once. I might BUY it for $4 if they gave us that option, though.

whats the difference between renting and buying? renting you cant watch after you watch it once? buying means you keep it forever?

for renting:
"this content is available as a rental for 14 days.  however, the content can only be played for 24 hours after first playback."

Well if it's just a freakin' episode you should be able to purchase it like you can on XBLM.  Once you buy it you can erase and download it again over and over for no additional cost.

Like every TV show but Xam'd allows you to purchase it.

i didn't see a buy option -- just the options to rent HD/SD.  i'm sure other TV shows let you buy episodes.  have a feeling it's different because it is actually being shown on PSN, rather than just ending up on PSN.  would be nice to buy, but oh well.

so i finished watching the ep but didn't let the credits play through. still says "times played: 0" so maybe you can simply stop at credits to keep it for full 14 days. we'll see i guess.

edit: nvm.  remaining time says 23 hours etc.  so it's based on first look.

Well, is there anything worth buying/renting? Was thinking about getting Cloverfield in HD, but I've seen that movie a few times already. And I really prefer owning my movies, but there's only SD available for purchase.

Do you actually pay for anything you own, or are you just a leech that steals everything?
