Title: I will now use my psychic powers to predict the next Rock Band left-field pick

Ahem- After using my amazing powers of clairvoyance to predict the arrival of Dinosaur Jr's "Feel the Pain", allow me the opprotunity to predict the next out-of-left-field bands to appear:

The Hold Steady
Mission of Burma

After including The New Pornographers, Harmonix has dropped the ball on getting indie (Matador is 100% independent) bands in the game. I had high hopes for getting bands like Stars, Of Montreal, The Wrens, etc. as DLC.

I really wanted some Spoon songs in RB, too.

When that DLC song list was revealed and there was Cherry Bomb on it, I got really excited.

Spoon would be a great pick. Wasn't there a quote from a Harmonix dev about working with indies ala Apple in the early iTunes days?

Asobi Seksu are so great. Polyvinyl has made some great signings after a kind of shitty period.
