er, what? the focus is a pretty popular dude car up here in the northwest. it might not be a hyuck hyuck pick-em-up truck as preferred by rural quakers on the other coast, but it's hardly an audi tt or a vw bug or mini cooper or mazda miata
the focus rs is one of the best rally cars ever made, to boot, and the st is a fuckin' beast.

Any focus I've been in is always totally pussified, and on top of that he posted what looks like hatch back version. Ew.
There are quite a few people down here who do some serious tuner work to import focuses.
focus st is a feggits hot hatchback
honda civic type-r is cheaper and would absolutely smoke one
but then i guess you americans cant even drive manual cars so whatever

this is a chick car. get over it. if you're a guy, and you want a hatchback, you don't get the ford focus.
peugeot, honda, volkswagen, and opel etc. have much better looking hatchbacks. and more importantly, they're not gay.
smh

YES.
I've always liked the Focus, but I just checked out the website and I thought it got better gas mileage than 24/35. Jap cars ftw.

35mpg highway is only beaten by the Cobalt coupe manual with 36mpg. Corolla is 27/35, Civic is 26/34, the Mitsu Lancer is like 23/30 and so is the Nissan Sentra. Yet the Focus is sportier than any of those cars except maybe the Civic.
Around these parts, the biggest chick cars are the RSX, the Eclipse, and the Jetta... oh yes, the Jetta, the car of choice for the Long Island JAPs. And around these parts, all the cool people drive TL's 8)

If I buy a car next summer (which I am planning to do as long as gas is not 10 dollars a gallon), it will probably be a pretty pimped Jetta or Golf/Rabbit. I like the look of and the basic numbers of the Dodge Challenger for a relatively low-priced car. I'd want to look into that more, though.
Im trying to figure out what the chick car in WA is
2010 Cobalt replacementIt's going to be called the Cruze. No joke.

Focus isn't a chick car. I'd love to have the one in the OP
You rice yours out yet? Ground effects, rims, springs, tint, etc.? Post some pics

Challenger is pretty expensive if you want a V8, and the Camaro's V6 trounces the Challengers.
If you get a Jetta look into the new turbodiesel they're offering with like 50mpg.
Nice, how much did it set you back after all fees, taxes, etc.?

What's the mileage on the Camaro? The only reason that I'm seriously considering a Challenger is because it's at the 30mpg highway mark.QuoteIf you get a Jetta look into the new turbodiesel they're offering with like 50mpg.
I'd have to worry about diesel gas coverage in my area, though, and although I haven't gone out of my way to see how many stations have diesel, I have a feeling it's not that many.

This isn't 1965 anymore.
The Camaro is just a shorter, lighter Pontiac G8 which already hangs with the 5 series.
big american muscle cars are utter shit anywhere other than a straight lineThe Camaro has a fully independent suspension that originated from the Pontiac G8.
