So I was thinking, if you could choose to acquire the ability to only see the inner beauty of women would you? And like in the movie, often the most beautiful women (from your perspective) would look hideous to everyone else.
I don't think I'm very shallow but I would turn down this power. On most issues I give public opinion the middle finger but I don't think I could walk around town with an ogre, even if she looked like Miley Cyrus to me. :-\

Only difference is that you want to stick your dick in the prettier ones, so you often overlook a lot of their defective personality traits. The less than desirable women, you don't want to put it in them, so you are able to see them for who they are.
Actually, I think pretty girls have treated me far better than the fat girls generally.

Totally agree with you... 'fat and jolly' is just a false stereotype. In fact, I'd say the fat girls tend to have massive self-esteem issues or depression due to constant rejection. Most of the fat girls I've known tended to be either manic depressive, or cold, sarcastic and bitchy. I find excessive sarcasm in a woman to be a total turnoff. And of course, really hot women can get away with much more due to their looks... Actually, calling hot women on their shit is one of the principal commandments of Game.
I know a cute Swedish chick I know that looooves black guys, maybe if Maurice came to town I could hook him up. I think Maurice would be best off with a cute and intelligent, hipster-y black girl (yes there are hipster black chicks). The only single black girl I know has a kid tho. :(

It's difficult to detect sarcasm on the internet, but I hope you were being sarcastic.
In the movie, they needed an actress who could play both a skinny character and a fat character. Since you can't put a skinny suit on a fat actress, they could only use a skinny actress in a fat suit.

In answer to your question PD, I would choose to see only the inner beauty of a woman. Then, if I was with a woman with great inner beauty, not only would the higher reasoning parts of my brain be satisfied, but so would the primitive mammalian parts. As we all know, it's hard to find a woman who is attractive both on the inside and on the outside. Furthermore, inner beauty doesn't fade with age like physical beauty. Consequently, it would be easier to maintain a long-term relationship.
However, on average, I don't believe that fat, ugly women have more inner beauty than skinny women. For instance, obesity is negatively correlated with intelligence, while positively correlated with poor impulse control.
People want life to be fair; they want things to even out for people. Unfortunately it doesn't always work that way: Some people are tall, beautiful, funny, considerate, and intelligent; others are short, fat, boring, inconsiderate, and stupid.

This phenomenon, if real, may be a consequence of education and class. People are more likely to date and marry those from similar educational and socio-economic backgrounds. Black males tend to be in a lower socio-economic class than most white women. And fat white women tend to be in lower socio-economic class than skinnier white women. Thus, fat white women are more likely to be in the same class as poor black men. It may not be that average black men prefer fat white women, it's just that they're more likely to be around them in their day-to-day lives.

First off that's a pretty broad generalization, and with respect to the "one drop rule" most blacks in the US have "white blood" no matter how dark they are. Not all good looking black women look mixed, a la Beyonce or Halle Berry. Perceptions of beauty are defined and reinforced by society, whether it's blond hair/blue eyes or fair skin. I know many dark women from Nigeria who are gorgeous. But the thing that separates them from the stereotypical views of what "dark skin" means is that their complexions are very clear. Serena Williams isn't very dark, but she's also not Beyonce-lite and she's considered to be beautiful by many people. It all comes down to personal perception though

The movie is based on a myth: that ugly and fat women are beautiful inside but pretty women are shallow and vapid. Also, that men only care about how good a woman looks, as opposed to anything else. Which is also incorrect. Not to mention casting Jack Black, who can't really do anything other than act like an insane, zany asshole. So any moment where Black has a moment of introspection, it comes off poorly.

Shuri's advice is right on-point, I'd also add "be assertive" to this list... have a plan, don't leave the girl to decide everything. Especially when first dating. And of course, don't be afraid to make physical moves with her. If she likes you even a bit, she won't mind getting a kiss after the date's over. Also, don't be afraid to put your foot down every now and then (this is part of having confidence).
