Finally took the plunge on WOW and traded up to the real version of Quake Wars (previously played it on PS3)

I hope WOW is as good as the hype. I haven't played it, seen it, seen a screen or a movie...

I think I preferred Doom I to II... mainly due to the atmosphere.

Quake Wars is a fantastic game on the PC.  I heard that the console versions weren't nearly as good. You should be able to find some good servers here in the US without a problem and people generally work together really well.

today I bought some groceries. go me.

Playstation Eye.  Can you use this thing as a web cam on your PC?

I bought it for LBP, but I guess it will come in handy with Burnout Paradise.

Yah - I also have the game for the PS3. ITs not NEARLY as good or as good looking. Looking at the stats, the PS3 had 600 players total today. The PC game had 6,000+ players.

I was gonna wait till I got my new machine - but I can run the game with max effects 12xx / xxxx rez with no AA. I hope my new machine can run it with AA as its the only thing keeping it from being perfect to me.

The game also feels more frantic for some reason...on the PS3 it felt more barren, laggy and enemies would pop in so youd only see that afar if sniping.....

Im ditching the PS3 edition now for sure.

i got a few CDs from bands at whartscape

i feel sorry that a lot of you will never see double dagger perform.

at one point, danny, the drummer was having so much trouble with his drum kit that he picked up his tom and FLUNG it into the pit where it cracked some dude in the skull.

absolutely amazing set.  same with Ponytail and Future Islands was fuck awesome.  last time i saw them, i hated them.   they were so fuck awful.

i also snagged a lot of cheap books thanks to Atomic Books' sale rack.

got Taschen History of Men's Magazines postwar - 1959, The Comics Journal Library 6, the Writers (extensive interviews with people from 75 - 85), and this neat cultural commentary book that my friend jacked from my bag.

AHHHHHHh Abrader, take back the WoW, DO NOT DO IT!  :'(

I have played it for a few hours.

I made a zombie rogue....

Its fun fighting in the Ghouls and Ghosts looking town outside of zombie camp.

I havent partied up yet, gone on a major adventure or done anything involving enough to get me sucked in deep - but i think its cool - a nice change from FFXI (the only other MMORPG I have played)
