I have some experience as I took a full year on programming for XNA (you can see my short shitty demo reel here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN0966CrS38))
Heres the Dream.Build.Play website (http://www.dreambuildplay.com/main/default.aspx)
I was always in charge of sounds and story and such on my games, all I needed was a programmer and a artist. I also designed most of the games i worked on.
I can upload my demos later!
But lets do something EB!
-
let's make a game where a bunch of dicks fly into shane kim's mouth
-
We should make a robotron clone but a music game. That'd be awesome. Each enemy you kill makes a unique sound effect.
We'd be gods on gaf.

...remake EveryDayShooter?
-
Except on the 360. We can call it "EveryMonthShooter"
-
maybe you were joking, but you're only going to get attention with an original idea.
-
Nah I've never played robotron, so I was just going by the basis that "making anything a music game makes it amazing on gaf" standards.
-
you also have to give it a very simplistic art style that looks like it took you an hour in flash
suddenly your game will prove that games are art
-
We might have a cult classic on our hands.

Let me get this right, for registering I'll get a free 12 month membership of XNA Club? Do I keep it even if I don't win? I know some very basic programming but the 12 months would give me the incentive to work alot harder.
you can download and use all the tools without the paid membership. only thing the paid membership really gets you is the ability to run your games on the 360, rather than just the PC.
unless something's changed

If you go to college you get an automatic one year of creators club premium. I love it. Dreamspark. Look it up.

We can name it '1up.com'.
