Trailer looks decent. They seem to have brought back the running Jason from 2-4 and the sackhead is back too!

The movie comes out in Feb...

For some reason I assumed October of next year :lol

This feels like a Fall type of movie, Feb release is fucken crazy

This feels like a Fall type of movie, Feb release is fucken crazy

I'd much prefer it come out in the summer, since the original came out in May.

I'd rather it come out when there's less competition. It's a pretty smart decision as it will get buried in the summer. My main concern with this flick right now is that they're aiming for a 90 min movie that goes into detail about Jason's childhood which is completely unnecessary and usually detracts from the tension of the villain (much like them trying to explain Leatherface).
