I like its format, but it was down quite a bit this morning. If anything this is appealing because its a return to the no-muss no-fuss approach of early search engines before they became so bloated.

I agree, the site just went up today, so I imagine the cnn/drudge stories probably slashdotted it for bandwidth.

Only issue i've had so far is that searching for Evilbore lists the mainsite at result 7 for me, lol.

Yea, I imagine since it was on the big news sites, that they are getting creamed with hits/search requests. Some of which are likely being made by google employees nonstop.
