Title: BTW, I heard some newish Weezer single on the radio
Post by: TVC15 on July 28, 2008, 06:11:54 PM: from their new album. It sounded like a rejected Fountains of Wayne b-side. It was even bad in comparison to the last several bad Weezer albums. At least in the past they were decent about having an acceptable hook or some other noteworthy aspect to the tune. This was just abysmal. Please tell me this album bombed. Please.

Anyway, even though the lyrics are terrible, I actually like the song.

She's lived in LA all her life, but she's not a "valley girl." She's seems intelligent and down-to-Earth.

What twang? And she doesn't speak "Valspeak" and doesn't sprinkle a lot of qualifiers in her sentences.

She used to dress like a tom-boy, not a valley girl. Now she seems to wear a variety of regular dresses.
