I would enjoy this more if I were 15 and riot was the third album I've ever heard. Crushcrushcrush rules however.

s'ok, we all have our guilty pleasures we may or may not talk about. I get a strange joy out of cranking the volume up and making my carpool suffer Rick Astley. Im still trying to decide if I like his music ironically or not.

The "Brandenburg Concertos" 1-3 are awesome, but I mostly listen to "Art of the Fugue," "Goldberg Variations," and the Overtures 1-4.

Hah, you should have seen Hanson in 1998. 140 decibels, a world record. I think it was set in Toronto or something.

[No, I wasn't part of that crowd. I actually didn't see them live until 2000.]

I went to a Panic at the Disco concert once.  It was pretty lame.  I imagine this Paramore concert would be at least on par, if not worse than that concert.

I don't think theres anything worse then going to a Panic concert. That band, is insanely awful

It wasn't any better that OK Go and some lesbo band played before them.

No thats the area south of there where if you drive thru there at night youll likely catch a few bullets or a brick...

They havent bothered to repaint the yellow lines on the road for the last 15 years, as workers cant set-up an op there without be assaulted.

They really just need to barricade it off and drop some firebombs in there.

But then a disease will attack the rest of FL, and you'll have to send a hot but strangely intimidating woman past the wall to get a cure.

Fucking liberals are going to have this country in a Final Fantasy VII Midgar situation before we know it.

Paramore was an interesting concert.  As I told Andrew and our other attendee Jaime, It took the better part of an hour to nail down why we were reflexively mocking the crowd.  Then I realized that the difference between them and us was that we found Paramore to be a guilty pleasure.  They loved them, shamelessly.

That's just wrong.

And fwiw the drummer and Haley are actually pretty talented.  The two guitarists and the bassist are your average 'I played some guitar when I was in high school' level of proficiency.  I.E. you could learn these licks in about 10 minutes and practice them for a couple of months and TOTALLY be able to sub for them in a live setting.

also it was totally hilarious when the guitarist would play a "solo" that had all the complexity of Suzuki Method Volume 1's "Long, Long Ago" - yet the lighting was strobing and the audience was screaming like he was the reincarnation of Jimmy Page

Haley's vocals aren't bad, but some of the song writing is pretty awful. Their good songs are the catchy ones, the bad ones include any song trying to convey 'feelings'
