How awesome is Jean Phillipe?
-
His best moment every season is when he gets to present the choices of clothing to the two finalists.
-
he's pretty awesome. and yeah, I can't fucking stand Jen. And I hated Matt. Oh my god, I wanted to punch him.
-
Season 4 was packed with awesome Jean Phillipe moments.
Jean Phillipe at the beach. :lol
Jean Phillipe and the Tropicana models. :lol

Kitchen Nightmares is awesome. You must watch it. :hyper
-
Yeah if you got to watch something with chef Ramsey, watch Kitchen Nightmares. The show is infinitely more entertaining than Hell's Kitchen. The US version follows the same formula on every episode so it gets to be a little too predictable but it's still fun to watch. You can find BBC Kitchen Nightmares episodes on YouTube and the US one is up on Hulu.
Go now. See you again in 12 hours.

Hell's Kitchen is just average FOX "reality," complete with asshole narration and, well, asshole everything. Untalented, unskilled attention whores duke it out in the kitchen, great television. Although, it does in its own way enhance the value of Top Chef. That's like an antidote to the shitpoison that is Hells' Kitchen, and I make sure I have both shows lined up on th DVR before watching either one.
-
you're crazy duckman :( or maybe i'm really that out of touch with reality shows. the last reality show i watched more than 20 minutes of was like the second season of the real world.
-
It's the format that gets to me. Put on a blindfold and cut out series specific tasks (like cooking) and it could be any other reality show. Overly pompous music and narration, and the same type of no talent, attention craving, backstabbing assbags that you will find in any reality show. I mean, these people seem to be borderline distinguished mentally-challenged, and far below even entry level chefs in every way that matters to the job. But it's entertainment, and they entertain. The real shame is that they FOX'd up the Kitchen Nightmares formula too. Ramsay is such a whore.
No, Top Chef is where it's at.
-
Top Chef is good when there isn't a lot of drama going on. Season 2 and 4 sucked because too many people were assholes, but that wasn't entertaining. Season 1 and 3 were great.
Hell's Kitchen is the exact opposite. People getting emotional and all jerk like to Ramsey is exactly what you watch for.
-
exactly. i watch to see Ramsay tear them apart and he never fails. He's fucking hilarious. I hate every one of the contestants except Patrozzi. He's fucking awesome and he's the only one that had any sort of dignity on the show.
