Title: Unemployment suuucksks

Okay so I was temping but now Im looking for something actually full time and shit. Ive been out of work for almost two whole weeks now and am living off my credit card. Im getting pretty desperate/ depressed...  :'( I dont have anyone else to talk to right now except for you guys  :'( :'(

I didnt think I'd need to as Im registered with 3 temp agencies so I figured something would come up in the meantime. Apperently the lull in temp work is across the board. Ive applied for like 10 jobs in the past week. The dole takes a while to get and wouldnt even cover my rent. And I hate dealing with WINZ so damn much

I remember being on the dole for a year once. Then they tried to get me to do work for the dole so I just got a proper job.

I thought about getting on the dole about a year and a half ago after I quit the shitty job doing "administrative" work at a nursing home that consisted of dealing with insane old people.  Instead I just kind of lucked into the niche I'm filling now of editing a bunch of boring shit for a comparatively cheap price.  SO LUCKY.

Look for full time while you temp. Dont stop work to look for full time. Takes longer but you arent screwed financially.

well ideally I would still be temping right now (Ive told my agencies I can start something at the drop of a hat) but theres a 'lull' across the board in temrs of temp work right now. I do have a few thousand dollars stashed away so I can dip into that If I have to, but those are my hard earned savings  :'( Right now Im playing Eternal Sonata and feeling sorry for myself.

Bah something has to turn up soon, I went real hardcore emailing out my resume and making phone calls last week, hopefully I'll get a call soon

Worst case try to get a retail job at a bookstore to supplement your savings while you hunt for fulltime. If asked about this job during an interview explain why you have it, it won't make you look bad.
