Title: I have every fuggin channel in HD except AMC
Post by: GilloD on August 04, 2008, 10:56:19 AM: I get fucking Telemundo in HD. I get food Network and Science channel and all kinds of things. But no AMC? Not even On Demand? Mad Men looks like hell in SD. FU Time Warner.

Yep, no NFL Network, no NFL Sunday Ticket, once I move into my gf's house I'm switching to DTV. I'm tired of waiting for cable to 'catch up' when now the Dish companies are offering 2-3x the amount of channels in HD AND are offering them in full resolution now.

Cable is too far behind to catch up at this point, they will just be my internet provider in the future.

I have Time Warner and I don't even get all of the broadcast channels yet in HD. Fuck them.

I have Time Warner and I don't even get all of the broadcast channels yet in HD. Fuck them.

Cant really say why a big company like time warner cant do it, but with smaller cable companies, they might not have the available frequencies on the pipe yet for hd channels. Or may need to upgrade internal hardware to be able to carry more channels.

I'm pretty sure they do have it (i have bright house which is like the same thing as TW). Find a channel called HD Showcase On Demand and there'll be a category called AMC Mad Men with the whole series.
