Spartakus is SO underrated. I think that show is what got me into science fiction.

I'm so sad there's no DVD release. There's an R2 release of Les Mondes Engloutis, but it's French only of course. :/

That golden robot eagle is so fucking awesome, the biggest reason I watched this show iirc.

So does it live up to the hype of your memories?  I don't remember anything about it other than I loved watching it.
