It's 17$ at Circuit City right now. Worth it?
Also does anyone know how much Front Mission DS is right now?
-
bad, stay far away from it

DS gaming sucks, come back in a month

terrible.

Only $17? I might have to snag myself a copy, seeing how I'm the only person on EB who loved FFXII.

Save up and get FF4DS or World Ends With You instead.

I have both of those. :lol

It's kind of like Fire Emblem lite, but in real time. As in, it's kind of fun but really quite easy and not particularly complicated. Worth $17, though? It mainly depends on how much you like the genre, I suppose.

don't support those fuckers by buying the game. it only encourages them to make more sequels on the ds instead of real sequels like we deserve.

If you like RTS games, it's probably worth 17 dollars. It has 4-5 decent hours of gaming. Problem is that RW is to the RTS what DoC was to the FPS: clearly the first time this team has tried to make a game in the genre, and they are developing it as though the western gems of the genre didn't exist. In other words, they make a number of design mistakes that the west has long ago solved.
Again: worth 17 bucks, give or take. Completely useless if your hope was to get more out of the FFXII story though; it's definitely not worthy as a narrative sequel. It's super shoe-horned in to the setting of the previous game.

Re being shoehorned in: it was originally intended as an original FF-brand game for DS, the decision to tie it in to FF12 wasn't made until midway through development.

I think I remember reading that a long time ago. I think it would have been more interesting as an original FF game, to be honest. Or maybe even a Fabula Nova Crystalis game (for some reason I can see FNC being done in this style).

i have it - never opened it.
