I can't find anything I want on the usual ones.
If you have one but its invite only, I can trade a demonoid invite.

I just got invited to What.CD a week ago so I don't have any invites to use yet :( Your best bet is to try to get invited via IRC unless you know someone who can throw you an invite to either What or Waffles. Those are the two largest private trackers at the moment. Read this for info about IRC invites: http://www.paulspoerry.com/2008/06/02/how-to-get-an-invite-to-whatcd/

nvm

what.cd and waffles.fm

I haven't had a music torrent site since Oink went down. The closest I come is Kerrazy-Torrents, but that's for metal only.

I might be able to help out. Will check when I get home tonight to see if I can invite anyone yet.

I'd help out, but I have no invites at the moment :(

Well that sucks. I can get on fine, so I don't know what's up with that.

Oh, actually I guess they recently changed servers? I'm still being redirected on irc somehow though. Try irc.what-network.com

Not enough seeders, lack of less-than-popular and older artists, shitty rips, etc

torrents.to
pretty good for a non-membership site. got a sabotaged deluxe edition of the Slider off of it though.
-
I use demonoid, bt-junkie, and torrentz. Not the greatest sites, but they get things done for the most part.
I'm also trying to get into waffles or what, and can also give a demonoid invite if anyone is interested.
shitty rips
This is basically my biggest gripe with most of the open sites.

250kb/s is the minimum bitrate I'll touch. I mainly look at release notes. Even TPB has good rips of CDs from group releases who know what their doing.
My 350kb/s Vivaldi "Four Seasons" rip is totally NOM NOM NOM

I'm still amazed that iTunes charges people for ~128kbps VBR rips.
