I could really see my self living in Seattle and enjoying this beautiful countryside. Anyway, I'm just gonna post a few pictures to give you an idea of this majestic place. Here is what a glacier looks like. Funny thing about this one. It's only retreated .6 miles since the last Ice Age (global warming amirite)

The National Park services is one of the better federal government agencies.

Post by: tiesto on August 13, 2008, 11:01:28 PM: I did a 5 mile trail around the base of Mt Rainier and by the end I thought I was gonna die. Now at least I'm in much better shape and would be able to get through it without much of a problem. The whole of the Pacific Northwest area is beautiful, love the picturesque mountain vistas and the pine trees.

My friends and I have been doing Saturday hikes every other weekend all summer. We're doing Denny Creek this Saturday. We call ourselves the Delridge Backpacking And Geological Society, or D.B.A.G.S.
